Grandparents are special to every child. They are the child’s support and their best friend. Their bed-time stories are integral part of everyone’s growing up years. Their knowledge is invaluable and their love unconditional. In keeping with this, Amarjyoti Saraswati International School celebrated Grandparents’ day for nursery kids on 22/10/2016. The event started with the dance performance by the children, followed by some games. The school organized special activities in which the grandparents could take part in it. All the nana’s & nani’s, Dada’s & Dadi’s became just childlike while doing the activities like mushkil hai par na mumkin nahi (couple juice game), pehchano toh jaane (draw and tell), janam janam ka saath (find the coin), jo jeeta wahi sikander (balloon game) and Bhavnagar darshan (station game).
The winners were given the prizes. Many grand parents came to talk about their gratitude to the Principal Mrs. Reema Ganguly for giving them such a wonderful opportunity. The function ended with the thanks giving speech. And the grand parents and their children, both indeed had gratitude for each other in their eyes. Everyone seemed truly happy and had a wonderful time.
