Holi – the festival of colors is one of the most popular, vibrant, exciting and fun festivals of the year. It is a Hindu festival based on the theme of victory of good over evil but is also a celebration of spring – the return of the colors around us – new leaves and new flowers. To make the children familiar about Indian culture and traditions of Holi, Amarjyoti Saraswati International School organized a Holi Expression for Nursery children. The programme started with a welcome speech by lovely children. As the colours of Holi are sprinkled, the nursery tiny tots sprinkled their talents through various performances. The children danced on the tunes of Holi songs with pichkari and flower petals. They enacted the mythological story of Prahlad and Holika through a drama. The children also recited poetries related to Holi. Finally it came to an end through a thank you speech. Parents encouraged the kids throughout the programme. We thank all the parents for their everlasting support and the teachers to make this event a great success.
