Amarjyoti Saraswati International School Pre-Primary section organized a workshop for teachers on 13/08/2016 (Saturday) conducted by Mrs. Vishakha Deshpande. She has specialized in Early Childhood Care and Education. She has been in this field for 25 years as an educator. She is a resource person for Teacher Education Course of Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. She has trained more than 3000 teachers from urban, tribal and rural parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka states.
All the teachers actively participated in the session and enjoyed learning new things from her. She explained the effective method of introducing alphabets and numbers to the children. She taught us about phonic sounds, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sorting, classification, etc.
It was very helpful for the teachers in enhancing their teaching
