Parents and teachers play an active role in a child’s education. Together we help them reach their fullest potential.
Keeping this fact in view, Amarjyoti Saraswati International School Pre-primary wing had organized an Open Day for the parents on 16/01/2016 (Saturday). The main attraction of the Open Day was a seminar to bring awareness on topics like “Learning through play-way method” and “Importance of printed letter writing”. The seminar was conducted by an eminent personality Ms. Smita Pal from Ahmedabad who herself is a good speaker and had been conducting workshops and seminars for parents.
She conducted an interactive session and successfully solved the queries of parents such as
- How a fussy eater can be tackled
- Dealing with hyper active child
- Teaching slow learners etc.
Parents actively participated in the various activities conducted by her. Through this session importance of play way method was explained, how a child can be educated and how parents can adopt this method to educate them. Later, importance of print letter writing was explained by Ms. Pal through a very nice activity which parents enjoyed a lot.
This seminar was openly appreciated by parents and they left a positive feed back. Parents wanted to attend more of such interactive sessions in future.
