Having colour theme days is a great way to introduce or teach the colours to toddlers.
Purple is the colour most often associated with royalty, magic, mystery and piety.
On September 7, students at Amarjyoti Saraswati International School, nursery section, celebrated purple day. Color purple was introduced at every opportunity: drawing objects which are purple in color, coloring, craft, different types of purple things like chair, ball, plants etc. Kids and staffs were clad in purple colour attire.
The soft boards were decorated in purple theme. The students of nursery did an activity of making brinjal with finger printing and palm printing. The students of Junior KG did an activity of making ice-cream candy in purple color. The students of Senior KG did an activity of making butterfly in purple color.
Some of the children were dressed up as butterfly, fairy, king, brinjal, grapes, etc. They had a ramp walk and were very happy. Thus, the whole day was celebrated for and with purple colors.
