Speech and language development is an integral part of Kindergarten Curriculum. As a part of our endeavor to help them develop appropriate communication skills as well as self-confidence, the nursery students of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School participated in a Show and Tell Competition on Friday the 18th of November, 2016.
The children carried their favorite toy with them and spoke a few sentences on it. The variety of toys and objects brought by them were remarkable. They came in all kinds of sizes and colours. Right from the flying stuff like aeroplanes and balloons to the dainty dolls, from big soft toys to small cars, we had them all. It was a pleasure listening to the little ones talk at length describing their favourite toy and why it is so special to them.
This inhouse competition not only helped them develop their vocabulary, speaking and communication skills, their social and listening skills were also enhanced.
