Expression – Ram Leela

Values are inhibited at an early age and this makes imbibing values in the pre-primary kids all the more important. So Amarjyoti Saraswati International School Pre-Primary Section, did an expression of the Hindu epic ‘Ramleela’ on 08/10/2016.
Toddlers, of Junior KG were dressed up like Rama, Seeta, Ravana, Hanuman, etc.  For most of the kids, this was their first ever performance on stage but as childhood knows no norms and is free of worries, the kids were less nervous and more excited to perform their roles. For the audience, it was a refreshing change from the usual Ramayana.
Well, we did see parents laughing and rolling on the floor. The performing kids were too cute for their roles, several of them still in stuttering age. The most unforgettable and cute moment was to see a young Hanuman ji coming on the stage, trotting his way, totally in love with his poonch. The kids did stutter, adding a hilarious touch of exclusivity to their Ramleela, but never did they let their enthusiasm fail them. The stuttering dialogue deliveries endeared the kids and the characters that they played a lot more! Children also performed Bengali dance, gujarati garba, pooja dance. Some of the girls were dressed up as different mataji of Hindu religion.
All in all, it was not only worth praising act, but also a different one with added cuteness to it. Cheers to all the kids who performed and the teachers who helped them with it.
