Ganesh\u00a0Chaturthi\u00a0is a\u00a0Hindu festival\u00a0celebrated on the birthday (rebirth) of Lord Ganesha, the son of \u00a0Lord Shiva\u00a0and\u00a0Parvati. It is believed that Lord Ganesha bestows his presence on earth for all his devotees during this festival.<\/p>\n
Ganesha Chathurthi was Celebrated in Amarjyoti Saraswati International School (Pre-Primary Section) on September 17, 2016.\u00a0 It began with a Ganesha Stuti and Aarti followed by song, dance and drama by Senior KG Macaw, Flamingo and Eagle students, and a recital of shlokas in Sanskrit.<\/p>\n
A skit based on Ganesha\u2019s Childhood was staged.\u00a0 The skit gave a strong message to the students that parents are equal to god.<\/p>\n
The students also performed the dance with lazium.<\/p>\n
It \u00a0was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and fun. The children not only prayed to Lord Ganesha but also sang and danced to the tunes of \u00a0\u2018Ganpati Bappa Moriya\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
