It is marked by worshiping of the Guru. On this day students expresses his gratitude to his Guru. It is a day to be grateful for all the blessings and knowledge received from our teachers.<\/p>\n<p>We Indians don\u2019t have mother\u2019s day and father\u2019s day, but we have a Guru\u2019s day and also teacher\u2019s day in India. That is the respect the culture has placed on a teacher because the teacher student relations is so vital to the learning process. It\u2019s not just paying respect.<\/p>\n<p>Amarjyoti Saraswati International School organized an expression on Gurupurnima. Students of Senior KG Penguin and Peacock performed dance, drama and sang a song. They also recited shlokas and gave the thank you and welcome speeches.
